The centuries-old botanical park of Villa di Toppo Florio the locality Buttrio, in the province of Udine, features a new permanent artistic installation that enriches the open-air contemporary art museum inaugurated since the first edition of “TreeArt”, the festival conceived and promoted by the Municipality of Buttrio - conceived and directed by Patrizia Minen - to bring culture, contemporary art, entertainment and scientific dissemination into fruitful dialogue on sustainability issues, scheduled this year between 11th and 14th July.

An event in which artists, scientists and popularizers celebrate a vision of nature as a “generative tool” of meeting and relationships, with a rich proposal of debates, meetings and en plein air performances, artistic events and concerts.

Also this year, at the center of the event is an absolutely topical element for the delicate balance between environment, climate and growth of our cities; contemporary: it is about the Soil, which gives also the title of the edition. Often considered as an inert substrate, soil is instead a fundamental resource and a strong ally for the regulation of the climate and the urban socio-ecological system.

And the very ground will be the ideal scenario for the site-specific artistic installation created specifically for the festival by the artist Lello Ronca, “Soì in heaven like this in terra", an intervention curated by Start Cultura which will go to implement the contemporary art collection that is growing in the Buttrio Park. On the ground the artist will install 5 of his famous mirrored clouds that will capture and reflect the sunlight and the colors of the surrounding trees as well as of the people who will move around them. "Lello Ronca's mirrored planes", explains the art historian Giuseppe Siano, "break with any linear architecture. They are concave and convex structures that modify the perception of the self-image: when the user tries to look in the mirror, he perceives a dynamic crossing of himself; itself and, at the same time, captures an identity and a distorted image, an unlikely reflection of reality." The works of the multifaceted artist from Salerno - sculptor, painter, performer, designer, ceramist, cabinetmaker and restorer - are present in Italy, Europe, the Maghreb and the Far East. It is was appreciated by world-famous masters such asAnish Kapoorand encouraged by one of the most great innovators of art of all time, Achille Bonito Oliva.

The work will be officially revealed to the public on Friday afternoon 12 July in the presence of the artist Lello Ronca introduced by the protagonist of this edition, the “accidental tourist” Patrizio Roversi, author and television presenter, as well as historic popularizer on sustainability issues environment and the irresponsible exploitation of soil on the planet, as evidenced by his show "Beyond oil", scheduled at the festival on the evening of Saturday 13 July.
