The Via Sacra is a suggestive archaeological walk in the shade of cypresses that connects the River Port to the Basilica area.
Built in the 1930s with the land left over from the excavations of the port, the route was designed to physically and ideally connect Roman antiquities, the Great War cemetery and the basilica complex with its extraordinary testimonies of early Christianity.
