The House of Wounded Beasts is a building located in the northern districts of the ancient city of Aquileia. Its name derives from the presence of a mosaic in which hunting scenes and wounded animals are depicted.

The first plant dates back to the 1st century BC, beginning of the 1st century AD, but the most prestigious phase dates back to the 4th century.

The living and reception areas overlook a central paved courtyard. Among these stands out the large room with the mosaic depicting hunting scenes and, next to it, a room with a mosaic floor that portrays a female character, perhaps the mistress of the house, amidst representations of fish and birds.
