The Casa dei Mosaici Bianconeri (House of black-and-white mosaics), located west of the CAL Fund and known for its precious geometric decorations, dates back to the Augustus age.
It was precisely the black and white tiles of the mosaics that allowed the dating of the domus in its main phase.
The dwelling is made up of several rooms connected by corridors and arranged around a central courtyard with a colonnade. Below the Augustan structure, excavations have brought to light previous structures characterized by a different orientation.
