Aquileia Splendida Civitas
In September Aquileia hosts the second edition of “Splendida Civitas”, a historical reenactment set in the 4th century. Camps, workshops, performances and tastings bring Roman daily and military life to life. The event culminates with the reenactment of the Battle of the Frigidus, decisive for the Empire’s history.
